In the Material palette [3D]→[Background], why are there two versions of the same material?
From version 1.8.0 onwards, 3D object materials and 3D backgrounds have been integrated together as 3D object materials.
As versions before 1.8.0 are unable to read materials from new versions of the application, 3D background materials from older versions have been retained for such users.
Due to this, there are two of each material with the same thumbnail.
Materials with [Ver.2] at the end of their name.
These can be used in versions of CLIP STUDIO PAINT beyond 1.8.0.
Materials without anything at the end of their name.
Please use these in versions of CLIP STUDIO PAINT before 1.7.8.
