If your monthly/annual plan will no longer automatically renew after May 31 and you are unable to use Clip Studio Paint (released on May 31, 2023)
Auto-renewal
To improve payment security, we have migrated our payment system. Users who subscribed to a monthly or annual subscription plan on our website (ec.clip-studio.com) have been asked to re-register their credit card to ensure their plan renews smoothly.
Existing plans of users who were unable to re-register by May 31, 2023, 12:00 am UTC will expire without renewing.
If you wish to continue using Clip Studio Paint after your current plan ends, please sign up again for a monthly or annual plan from the link below.
Using artwork files and materials
To edit past artwork files or materials, we recommend signing up for the same plan grade as before to pick up where you left off.
If you get a message after signing up that says “Your usage period has expired.”
After signing up, if you get the message "Your usage period has expired." when launching Clip Studio Paint, please tap "I already have a license" and choose your new plan to launch the app.
1,500 Clippy point credit date
Until June 30, new sign-ups to monthly or annual plans from users who were affected by credit card registration will receive 1,500 Clippy tokens to their Clip Studio account as a thank-you. The Clippy will be credited within six business days of signing up.
Users who apply by June 30, 2023 are eligible.
