How do I change the credit card to use for my annual/monthly plan?

You can change the credit card you are using on the Plan Details page for your annual/monthly plan if purchased via web browsers, or if it was for the Windows or macOS version of Clip Studio Paint.

If you purchased your plan from a different store, please check how to change the card on that platform.



Steps

1. Open your Plan Details page.


2. Select the plan that you want to change the card for and tap Details.



3. Tap Open customer portal.



4. Tap Add payment method.



5. Enter the card information and tap Add.

Note: Make sure you have checked Use as default payment method.



6. The new card will have Default displayed next to it. This means payments will be made through this card.




Note:

If the new card is not marked as default

From the ... menu tap Make default.



To delete the card information

From the ... menu tap Delete.




How to change your card if payment failed

If the payment failed for your plan change, auto renewal, or initial payment, change your card from Invoice History.


1. Open your Plan Details page.


2. Select the plan with the payment issue and tap Details.



Note:
If Open customer portal is displayed, proceed to step 3.


3. Tap Open customer portal.



4. Tap on the icon next to the date in your Invoice History.

Payments that have failed to settle are marked as Open or Failed.



5. Enter your card information and tap Pay.



6. From the Plan Details page tap the plan that you changed your card for and tap Details.



7. Tap Open customer portal.



8. Your card information will be shown for your current plan. Tap on the icon next to this.

If your card information is not displayed, follow the steps in "Checking your credit card information" after Step 9.



9. Select the card you changed and tap Update.




Checking your credit card information

After you change your credit card, check if the card has become the default card in the customer portal.

Note: Open the customer portal by going to the Plan Details page > tap Details > Open customer portal.


If the card is not the default, tap the ... menu > Make default.

You may also delete old card information from this window.




How to change your details if you subscribed before August 7, 2024

1. Open your Plan Details page.


2. Select the plan that you want to change the card for and tap Details.



3. Tap Change credit card.



4. Enter your card information and tap Pay now.



The confirmation screen will display telling you the card was changed.
