How do I sign up for an Update Pass?
In order to purchase an Update Pass you must have an activated Clip Studio Paint one-time purchase, perpetual license and then sign up from Clip Studio.
Note: This FAQ is for Windows/macOS users.

How to buy an Update Pass
1. Tap Use the latest features after starting Clip Studio.
Ver. 3.0 or later
Tap Use the latest features on the top right menu.
Ver. 2.0 or earlier
2. Tap See details next to Update Pass and then Purchase.
3. Check over your order details and then tap Go to card information.
4. Enter your code and tap Pay.
Note: This will display your order information.
After purchasing the Update Pass, your perpetual, one-time purchase license will be invalid until the pass expires.
When the order completion screen shows, this means your Update Pass has been purchased.

Launching Clip Studio Paint
After activating your update plan license, the app will be updated to the newer version.
1. Start Clip Studio and Clip Studio Paint.
2. Open Review/Change License in Clip Studio Paint.
Windows
Select the Help menu > Review/Change License.
macOS
Select the Clip Studio Paint logo menu > Review/Change License.
3. When the license list shows, tap Active next to Update Pass.
4. Quit both Clip Studio and Clip Studio Paint.
5. Start Clip Studio.
6. Update Clip Studio Paint to the newer version.
For Ver. 3.0
From the upper right menu select Update to latest version > Update.
Ver. 2.0
Tap ① to the right of PAINT to update.
Ver. 1
Tap Update to latest version > Update.
7. After the update or upgrade is complete, launch Clip Studio Paint to activate the update plan license and use the app.
