Galaxy/Android: How do I import brush files?
Use the following methods to import brush files.
- From the Tool Group palette menu, use Import tool
- Drag and drop the brush files to the Tool Group palette
Preparation
Be sure to unzip any zipped brush files first.
Imported zip files may not load.
Importing a material from the palette menu
1. Tap the menu button in the upper left corner of the Tool Group palette.
Tablets
Smartphones
Long press on the tool selection section.
2. Select Import tool.
3. Open the brush save location from the file picker that appears.
- If you do not see the following file picker, please update to the latest version here.
- When you select Open storage, the screen displayed will differ depending on the type of device you are using.
4. Select the brush file and tap Open.
5. This imports the brush file.
Importing via drag and drop
1. Make sure that the file browser app installed on your device and Clip Studio Paint are running.
File browser applications vary by manufacturer.
2. Show both apps in split screen mode.
The procedure for setting apps in split screen depends on the manufacturer of the tablet or smartphone.
Please check the manufacturer of your device for how to set your device in split screen mode.
Here, the applist is displayed and the file browser app is selected for split display.

3. Import the brush file by dragging it into the Tool Group palette.
