Material-related error displays under Clip Studio’s Data Transfers

If you get an error under Data Transfers (Communication Management), please see this page.



Note:
If you have an older version of Clip Studio Paint (1.7.8 or older), please update it from here.



The message "There is a data conflict because this data has been changed on multiple devices." appears

Please do the following.



If there are only a few errors

1. Open Clip Studio.

For tablets and smartphones, return to the home screen.


2. Select Manage materials.


3. Enter the name of the material that is causing the error in the search box.

Tap the magnifying glass icon to display the search box.

If you don’t know the material name

Please check the error message.



4. Double-click on the material marked with an i in the red thumbnail



5. Follow the instructions on the screen to begin the recovery process.



If there are many errors

1. Open Clip Studio.

For tablets and smartphones, return to the home screen.


2. Select Settings (gear icon) > Maintenance Menu.


3. Execute Overwrite any conflicting materials with cloud data.

Ver. 2.0 or earlier


Note:
If you are editing a material on your device, the edited content will be deleted.
Complete your edits before performing the action.



If other errors appear:

1. Open Clip Studio.

For tablets and smartphones, return to the home screen.


2. Select Settings (gear icon) > Maintenance Menu.


3. Execute Organize Material Database or Organize Materials.

If the problem persists

If the problem does not improve after trying all of the above, please contact our support team.
