Windows/macOS: Coordinates shift when drawing or pen pressure isn't detected

If you are drawing on a tablet connected to a computer and the coordinates are not correct, or pen pressure is not detected, please check the following items in order from the top.


Note
If the coordinates are misaligned or the pressure does not work in other graphic software, please contact the pen tablet's manufacturer.
If you are using a Wacom product such as from the Cintiq Companion or Mobile Studio series, please also check the contents of this page.



Checking your connected display monitors (Windows 10)

If you have multiple monitors connected, please refer to the following FAQ.




Checking "Using tablet service" (Windows 10)

(1) Start Clip Studio Paint and open [Preferences].


(2) Select [Tablet], check [Wintab] under [Using tablet service], and click OK.



For Tablet PCs

Please note that the settings are different for tablet PCs such as the Surface series.

Resetting the pen tablet driver (All platforms)

Follow the instructions provided by your pen tablet manufacturer to reset the pen tablet driver.

Reinstalling the pen tablet driver (All platforms)

Follow the instructions provided by your pen tablet manufacturer to reinstall the pen tablet driver.


(1) Uninstall the pen tablet driver.


(2) Install the latest version of the pen tablet driver.


Note: After uninstalling and reinstalling is complete, restart your computer.


Note
If you have more than one pen tablet driver installed, please uninstall all drivers and then install only the one you need.
