Filling with the fill tool paints the entire screen
Check the Fill tool settings from the Tool Property Palette.
Procedures
Click on Tool Property under the Window menu and set the following items.
(1) Turn on Follow adjacent pixel.
(2) Check Close gap and increase its value.
Note: To adjust with the slider, right-click and select Show slider.
(3) Set the value of the Color margin to 0.
(4) If Area scaling is checked, set its value to 0.
(5) Check Multiple referring and set it to reference All layers, the first icon in the row.
If there is no improvement, you can restore the fill tool to its default settings by clicking the reset icon on the bottom right of the Tool property.
