No matter what color you choose, it draws in black or gray, or nothing is drawn.
If the Layer expression color is [Gray] or [Monochrome], you will be unable to draw in color.
When the expression color is [Gray], you will draw in a gray tone that corresponds to the drawing color.
When the expression color is [Monochrome], light colors will be drawn in white, as if nothing is drawing at all, and dark colors will be drawn in black.
Follow the steps below to change the Layer expression color.
Procedure
Check that the [Expression Color] on the [Layer Property] palette is set to color.
When creating a new canvas, you can manually set the basic expression color of the canvas. When creating a new layer, it will default to the expression color of the canvas.
If you accidentally created a canvas with the basic expression color set to [Monochrome] or [Gray] and want to change it, open [Edit] menu > [Change Canvas Basic Settings].
From there you can change its basic expression color to [Color].
Now, when you create a new layer, it will automatically have its expression color set to [Color].
