Typed text is not displayed when using the Text tool.
Try checking the following settings.
Check the Drawing Color
Check to see if the current color is not white.
*By default, the drawing color should be the upper left Main color.
Check the Text color
Check that Text Color is set to Main Color in the Tool property palette.
Check the Layer Expression Color
Select the text layer, and see the Expression color in the Layer Property Palette.
If the expression color is set to either Gray or Monochrome with only white active, your text may not be visible. When using a Gray or Monochrome layer, make sure both black and white are active.
Check the font you are using
Certain characters that are not included in a font will not be displayed correctly when typed.
Change the current font to see if this is the case. If so, change the font to one that includes the characters you would like to use.
