How do I make the eraser snap to the symmetrical ruler?
With the Eraser tool selected, check Enable snapping in the Advanced Tool Settings palette.
Procedure
1. Select the Eraser tool.
2. Display the Advanced Tool Settings palette.
The Advanced Tool Settings palette can also be accessed via the Window menu > Advanced Tool Settings.
3. From Correction, check Enable snapping.
4. The Eraser can now snap to symmetry rulers.
Depending on the version you are using, the palette names may differ as follows.
- Tool Group palette > Sub Tool palette
- Advanced Tool Settings palette > Sub Tool Detail palette
