CLIP STUDIO PAINT versions 1.5.0 and onwards are installed as separate applications to their older versions.

Please follow the steps below to uninstall older versions.

*Uninstalling older versions will not remove data such as materials or preferences.

You can continue using the latest version.

For Windows users:

1. Go to [Start] →[System Tools] and open the [Control Panel].

*For Windows 7, go to [Start]→[Control Panel].

*For Windows 8.1, right click the [Start] menu and open [Control Panel].

2. Select [Program]→[Programs and Features].

3. As shown in the sections boxed in red in the image below, please select and uninstall the versions without a number next to them.

*The operation listed above will uninstall CLIP STUDIO PAINT.

If you do not have other software from the CLIP STUDIO series besides PAINT, the older version of [CLIP STUDIO] will be uninstalled along with the PAINT software.

For macOS users:

1. Select [Finder]→[Go]→[Application].

2. As shown in the image below, please open folder of CLIP STUDIO without a number next to it.

3. Please delete the following data:

・[CLIP STUDIO PAINT] files in the [App] folder.

・[PAINT] folder within the [App]→[Settings] folder.

・[PAINT] folder within the [App]→[PlugIn] folder.

*The operation listed above will uninstall CLIP STUDIO PAINT.

If you do not use other software from the CLIP STUDIO series besides PAINT, move the folders of [CLIP STUDIO] with red borders to the recycling bin to complete unistallation of CLIP STUDIO PAINT.
