Where can I find special rulers and perspective rulers?

Special and perspective rulers can be created using the ruler tool.

Perspective rulers can be created from the Layer menu as well.


How to create a special ruler

Note: “Special rulers” mean highly specified rulers such as parallel line, radial line, radial curve, concentric circle, and guide rulers.


1. Select a layer or layer folder in the layer palette.


2. Select the [Ruler] tool in the tool palette.



3. Select [Special Ruler] from the [Sub Tool] palette.



4. Select the special ruler to use from the [Special ruler] field in the [Tool Property] palette.




How to create a perspective ruler

1. Select a layer or layer folder in the layer palette.


2. Select [Layer] menu > [Ruler/Frame] > [Create Perspective Ruler] to create a perspective ruler on the current layer.

You can select the intended perspective here.



If you want to manually set vanishing points, use the [Ruler] tool > [Perspective Ruler] to draw a perspective ruler onto a layer.
