The CLIP STUDIO series was designed to be installed and used from a local internal HDD.

CLIP STUDIO PAINT will not run correctly if it is installed to a removable drive and connected to a different PC.

Compared to internal drives, external HDD and removable drives such as flash memory have inferior transfer speeds.

This difference in speeds can potentially cause unexpected bugs to occur.

Unless you have a special reason, we recommend installing CLIP STUDIO PAINT to it's default location.

*On the installation screen, select [Next] without changing the install location.

Under the default settings, the program will be installed at the following location:

・Versions up to 1.4.3.

C:\Program Files\CELSYS\CLIP STUDIO\CLIP STUDIO PAINT\CLIPStudioPaint.exe

・Versions 1.5.0 onward.

C:\Program Files\CELSYS\CLIP STUDIO 1.5\CLIP STUDIO PAINT\CLIPStudioPaint.exe
