The red/blue light on my Clip Studio Tabmate keeps blinking and the device doesn’t work
Press any of the buttons on the Clip Studio Tabmate to see if the situation improves at all.
If the light continues switching from red to blue continuously, with no improvement to the situation, it means that it isn’t connected correctly with your computer.
Check the following points.
Remove any devices connected to USB 3.0 ports.
If you are using your computer’s USB 3.0 ports, remove any devices connected to it and try using the Tabmate again.
The connection between your computer and Tabmate may be disrupted by interference from USB 3.0 device cables.
Check your computer’s manual, or the manufacturer’s website to determine whether your computer has USB 3.0 ports.
Check where you have inserted your Bluetooth adapter
Make sure your Bluetooth adapter is not connected to a USB hub.
If it is connected to a USB hub, please connect it directly to your computer’s USB port.
If your computer has multiple USB ports, please reconnect your Bluetooth adapter to a different port.
Windows: Connect your Wi-fi antenna
If your desktop computer has a Bluetooth adapter or Wi-fi receiver built-in, you may have an antenna that attaches to the back of the device.
In such cases, please refer to your computer’s manual and, after attaching the antenna, check if you are able to use the Tabmate.
If the antenna is not connected properly, it may interfere with Bluetooth signals and cause a lag when using devices connected over Bluetooth.
Even if you are using a wired internet connection, please ensure that the antenna is properly connected to your computer, as it may impact your Tabmate’s Bluetooth connection.
