macOS: When my Clip Studio Tabmate is connected, a system access permission alert appears.

We have confirmed that an access permission dialog will be displayed when using Clip Studio Tabmate for the first time on macOS.



When using a Tabmate, please make sure to set up your macOS Privacy & Security settings.



How to set up macOS 13 or later

1. Open Apple menu > System Settings.


2. Select Privacy & Security.


3. Select Input Monitoring.


4. Turn on CLIP STUDIO PAINT.




When CLIP STUDIO PAINT is already on

Please delete the CLIP STUDIO PAINT option and add it again.


1. Select Clip Studio Paint from the list, and then select at the bottom of the list.


2. Select + at the bottom of the list.


3. Select Applications > CLIP STUDIO 1.5 > App, then tap the CLIP STUDIO PAINT option that appears and select Open.


4. Confirm that CLIP STUDIO PAINT has been added, turn on the TABMATE again, and pair it from System Settings > Bluetooth.



How to set up macOS 12 or earlier

1. From the Apple menu, open System Preferences.


2. Select Security & Privacy.


3. Select the Privacy tab.


4. Select Input Monitoring from the list on the left hand side.


5. With the + button, add CLIP STUDIO PAINT.




When CLIP STUDIO PAINT is already checked

Please delete the CLIP STUDIO PAINT option and add it again.


1. Select Clip Studio Paint from the list, and then select at the bottom of the list.


2. Select + at the bottom of the list.


3. Select Applications > CLIP STUDIO 1.5 > App, then tap the CLIP STUDIO PAINT option that appears and select Open.


4. Confirm that CLIP STUDIO PAINT has been added, turn on the TABMATE again, and pair it from System Settings > Bluetooth.
