iPhone/iPad: Supported Cloud Services for Clip Studio Paint

Please check the following for the supported cloud services when saving files to various cloud services such as iCloud Drive.

If there are any problems with one of these cloud services, we will provide feedback to Apple and other cloud service developers in an effort to improve them.

*(1) When saving an existing file, it may be saved as a new file. (iPhone only)


*(2) When opening files managed in folders (eg. cmc format), the access permissions window may close and the file cannot be opened. Please follow the steps on the page below to copy the items into the [Clip Studio] folder and open it. We have provided feedback on this issue to Apple. (iPhone only)


*(3) Files managed in folders (eg. cmc files) cannot be opened. For details, please refer to the following.


*(4) When repeatedly saving the same file, the conflicting file may be duplicated.


*(5) The file cannot be opened if the device is offline.


*(6) When saving an existing file, it may be saved as a new file.


*(7) When saving a new file, the message "The operation was canceled. (File name) has not been saved." appears, but the file is still saved.


*(8) Files saved from other devices cannot be opened.


*(9) Files cannot be read or written when the device is offline. (iPhone only)

About external drives

We do not recommend directly storing or editing Clip Studio Paint files on external drives such as USB sticks.
