[iPad] Where do saved files go in Ver. 1.9.5 or later, and how can I manage them?

From Clip Studio Paint Ver. 1.9.5, you can manage files on iOS or iPadOS directly from the Files app.


Opening a clip or a cmc file

Follow the steps below to open a .clip file or a multiple page file.


1. Tap the [Open CLIP STUDIO] icon at the top of the screen.



2. Tap [Manage works] from the menu on the left, and double-tap the applicable work.

General formats such as JPEG and PNG can be opened with the steps below.


1. Select [File] menu > [Open].


2. When the screen is displayed, tap [Browse] at the bottom of the screen, and tap [On My iPad] from the menu on the left.



* If the menu is not displayed, you can show it by tapping [Browse] again.


3. Open the [Clip Studio] folder and tap the saved file.




How to select multiple files

To select multiple files to open, tap [Select] at the top of the screen.




How to change the file sort order

Dragging the screen down while it's showing the topmost files in the folder will display the options to sort files on the top of the dialog box.

Clicking any of these buttons will allow you to change the file sort order.




How to manage files with folders

You can manage files by moving them into new folders with the [File] App.


1. Open the [File] app.



2. Select [On My iPad] > [Clip Studio] folder.



3. Dragging the screen down while it’s showing the topmost files in the folder will display the Add Folder icon on the top left corner of the dialog box.
Tap this icon and enter the folder’s name.



4. A new folder is then created and can now be selected to save in from [File] menu> [Save] in Clip Studio Paint.
