How to import images from the iPad photo library:

1. Open the Clip Studio Paint app without creating a canvas, and exit to the home screen of the iPad. Make sure that the photo library icon is in the app launcher.

2. Double tap the home button, and hold and drag the photo library icon over the Clip Studio Paint app screen. Hold the icon until the screen blinks, and place the photo app next to the Clip Studio Paint app.

3. From the photo app, drag a photo you want to open, and drop it on the [Sub View] palette.
