Canvas display becomes small in time-lapse video

Question

When exporting a time-lapse video, the canvas display in the video becomes smaller.

Reply

If you change the aspect ratio of the canvas size significantly during time-lapse recording and export the time-lapse video with [Aspect ratio] set to [Original], the canvas display in the video may become smaller.

■ Change canvas size

■ Display in time-lapse video

[Aspect ratio] : [Original]

Workaround

In the [Export timelapse] dialog, you can set the [Aspect ratio] to something other than [Original] to ensure that the canvas display in the video is always the right size.

■ POINT
If you change the canvas size while recording a time-lapse video and set the [Aspect ratio] to [Original], the time-lapse video will be exported to match the aspect ratio of the final canvas size.

For example, if you change the canvas size during creation and make it a portrait or landscape work, check the [Aspect ratio] setting when exporting the time lapse.
