The message “Unable to edit canvas because canvas contains data which cannot be used in this version” appears (Updated July 29, 2025)

Some .clip files that use features or materials that were added in later versions of Clip Studio Paint, cannot be edited in earlier versions of the app.

You need to update to the corresponding version to edit these files.
