If an annual/monthly plan is changed, can the new plan be used immediately?
Depending on the specifics of your plan change, the timing of when it will come into effect will change.
The procedure for changing your monthly usage plan also vary depending on where you signed up for your monthly usage plan originally.

Sign-up via the Clip Studio website
The plan will be changed immediately after the payment for the new plan has been made.
*Once the payment has been approved by the clearing system, the plan can be used.
If you are still in the three-month free period for your annual/monthly plan, your new plan will come into effect immediately. Smartphone plans, however, are not eligible. See details here.
Note
If the plan was made before August 7, 2024 and the following conditions apply, then the change will come into effect after the contract period of your former plan has ended.
- Changing payment schedule only (from monthly to annual, or vice-versa)
- If you see “on your next regular payment date” on the plan change confirmation screen.
Sign-up via the App Store
In the following cases, your plan will only switch over after the contract period of your original plan has expired.
- Plan changes that reduce the number of devices
- Plan changes where the grade is changed from EX to PRO for the same number of devices
- Plan changes that switch between annual and monthly versions for the same grade and number of devices
In the following cases, the plan will go into effect immediately after signing up.
- Plan changes that increase the number of devices
- Plan changes where the grade is changed from PRO to EX for the same number of devices
If you are still in the three-month free period for your annual/monthly plan, the free usage period may end depending on the type of plan you change to.

If you ordered a monthly usage plan from the Galaxy Store/Google Play you are unfortunately not able to change plans. To change your plan, please cancel your current plan and sign up for a new plan.
