macOS: I get the message “CLIP STUDIO quit unexpectedly” and cannot start the app (Updated: November 10, 2022)

If the above error appears and you are unable to get Clip Studio or Clip Studio Paint to start, please follow the steps below to set access permissions.
Steps
1. From the Apple menu, navigate to Go > Go to Folder.
2. Enter /private and click Go.
3. When the window opens switch the display option to as Columns.
4. Make the tmp folder in the private folder selected.
5. From the Apple menu, select File > Get Info.
6. In the dialog, click the padlock icon in the lower right corner of the window to unlock it.
7. Under Sharing & Permissions, change the settings so that wheel and everyone are set to Read & Write.
8. After changing the settings, click the padlock icon again to return it to the locked state.
9. Close the screen and try to launch Clip Studio and Clip Studio Paint again.
Issue
We have received reports from customers using Clip Studio Paint on macOS that the Clip Studio and Clip Studio Paint apps are failing to launch.
-The message CLIP STUDIO quit unexpectedly appears.
-The Clip Studio Paint menu appears without the app window.
