Windows: Clip Studio does not start up normally

Issue

Since January 13, 2023, there has been an issue with Clip Studio freezing or otherwise failing to start up properly on Windows.

This issue has been corrected with Clip Studio Paint Ver. 1.13.1.

Please update your software from the link below.

Turn on Display pages on Internet Explorer.

1. Start Clip Studio.

2. Click on the gear settings icon in the top-right of the screen and select Display pages on Internet Explorer from the Maintenance Menu.

3. Restart Clip Studio.

If the computer freezes

1. Restart the computer.

2. Without starting the Clip Studio series application, right-click on Windows Start and select Explorer.

3. Documents folder > CELSYS.

Note:
If you cannot find the CELSYS folder, please check the following locations:

Right-click Windows Start > Explorer > PC > Local Disk(C:) > User > Your User Name > AppData > Roaming > CELSYSUserData.
If the AppData folder is not visible, go to the View tab at the top of Explorer and check Hidden Files.

4. Select CLIPStudioVer1_5_0 > Preferences folder.

Note: Make sure you select the CLIPStudioVer1_5_0 folder, not the CLIPStudioPaintVer1_5_0 folder.

5. Rename the Config.sqlite file to 1Config.sqlite by adding a 1 to the beginning of the file name.

6. Open Clip Studio.
