Tablet/Smartphone: What are Studio Mode and Simple Mode?
The tablet and smartphone versions of Clip Studio Paint offers two interfaces: Studio Mode and Simple Mode.
They each have their own characteristics.
Simple Mode for tablets was implemented in Clip Studio Paint version 2.1.0 released on July 27, 2023.

What is Studio Mode?
Studio Mode is the standard interface that offers the same functions as the PC version of Clip Studio Paint.
We recommend using this mode when your work requires multifunctionality.
What is Simple Mode?
Simple Mode is an interface that maximizes the use of mobile device screens.
You can use basic functions necessary for creating illustration as well as other useful choice functions.
This mode is recommended for those who are creating artwork for the first time or for those who want to draw using their whole device’s screen as the canvas.
