“Please update to the latest version” is displayed and timelapse cannot be exported

If you are using CLIP STUDIO PAINT Ver.2.1.0 or later and the message "Please update to the latest version" is displayed and you cannot export the timelapse, please check the following.




Check version

If you start Record timelapse from Clip Studio Paint Ver.2.1.0, you will not be able to export timelapses from versions before 2.1.0.


Please update the app from the following page.


Note:
Works that started Record timelapse from before Ver.2.0.7 can be exported from Ver.2.1.0.



Simple mode: Checking the time-lapse recording status

In Ver.2.1.0 simple mode, if an error message is displayed when performing Share timelapse, time-lapse is not recorded.


This phenomenon will be fixed in a future version.

Solution

You can avoid this by turning on Start recording timelapse.


1. Open the menu button on the top right.


2. Tap Canvas settingsStart recording timelapse.
