Ver. 3.0 and later: How do I upgrade my Clip Studio Paint perpetual license version or grade?
If you have a perpetual license for Clip Studio Paint Ver. 3.0 or later, you can get a version upgrade or upgrade to EX in the following ways.
Note: This page is for Windows/macOS users.
- If you are currently using an Update Pass, wait until it ends to access your perpetual license and get a discounted upgrade. While your Update Pass is in effect, your perpetual license cannot be changed or upgraded.

How to upgrade version or grade
1. Using Ver. 3.0 or later, start Clip Studio and tap Use the latest features from the upper-right menu.
2. You will see options for a Discounted upgrade or Discounted EX upgrade. Tap See details to select your payment method.
3. Now follow the steps to purchase.
Once the purchase is complete, your perpetual license will automatically upgrade.
4. Restart Clip Studio and Clip Studio Paint.
5. Now you can use your upgraded Clip Studio Paint app.
