Ver. 3.0: How do I get a discounted upgrade to EX for my Clip Studio Paint PRO perpetual license?
If you have an activation code for Clip Studio Paint PRO Ver. 3.0, you can get the Clip Studio Paint EX discounted upgrade in the following ways.
Note: This page is for Windows/macOS users.
- If you have a Ver. 2.0 PRO activation code, you can upgrade to Ver. 3.0 for a discount here.
- If you are currently using an Update Pass, wait until it ends to access your perpetual license and do a discounted upgrade. While your Update Pass is in effect your perpetual license cannot be changed nor upgraded.

How to get the discounted upgrade
1. Start Clip Studio and tap Use the latest features from the upper-right menu.
2. Go to Discounted upgrade > See Details > Upgrade or Purchase with GOLD.
3. Now follow the steps to purchase.
Once the purchase is complete your PRO license will automatically change into EX.
Restart Clip Studio and Clip Studio Paint and you will now be able to use the EX grade.
