Windows/macOS: Is there a discounted upgrade for Ver. 1 or Ver. 2.0 to Ver. 5.0?

It is not possible to skip versions for discounted version upgrades (perpetual version), such as from Ver. 1 to Ver. 5.0.

You can purchase discounted upgrades from Ver. 1 to Ver. 2.0, then Ver. 2.0 to Ver. 3.0, then Ver. 3.0 to Ver. 4.0 and from Ver. 4.0 to Ver. 5.0. Version upgrades only upgrade to the next major version.

- Users with PRO Ver. 2.0 Perpetual Licenses or PRO/EX Ver. 1 Perpetual Licenses
It's more economical to purchase a new Ver. 5.0 Perpetual License than a discounted version upgrade.
You can find out which plan is best for you here.

We recommend that perpetual license users buy the Update Pass (annual) to access the latest versions at a lower price.

Using the Update Pass

The Update Pass allows one-time purchase perpetual license users access to the latest version without the need for a new version perpetual license and at a fraction of the price.

You need to have a Clip Studio Paint one-time purchase perpetual license active with your account and then select Use the latest features from Clip Studio.

See the following page for more details about the Update Pass.
