How do I restart Clip Studio Paint?

The method for restarting the Clip Studio Paint app depends on your device.

Note:
Be sure to save any unsaved work before restarting the app.



iPad/iPhone

The following describes the steps for iPads and iPhones with no Home button.


1. Swipe up from the bottom of the screen and release the finger in the middle of the screen.


2. Swipe up on Clip Studio Paint’s preview to close the app.



3. Open Clip Studio Paint again.

Galaxy/Android

The following describes the steps for Galaxy and Android devices with a navigation bar.


1. Tap the Recents button on the navigation bar.


2. Swipe up on Clip Studio Paint to close the app.



3. Open Clip Studio Paint again.

Windows

1. Tap the × in the upper right of Clip Studio Paint to close the app.



2. Tap the × in the upper right of Clip Studio to close the app.


3. Open Clip Studio again.



4. Open Clip Studio Paint by tapping on Draw or PAINT.




macOS

1. Select Clip Studio Paint > Quit Clip Studio Paint to close the app.



2. Select Clip Studio > Quit Clip Studio to close the app.



3. Open Clip Studio again.



4. Open Clip Studio Paint by tapping on Draw or PAINT.




Chromebook

1. Press the switch window key on the keyboard.



2. Swipe up on Clip Studio Paint on the app preview screen to close the app.



3. Open Clip Studio Paint again.
