Galaxy / Android / Chromebook: A message about access permissions appears when I open files in Clip Studio Paint
If a message appears requesting access permissions, enable the access permissions for the destination folder and then open the file.
This message may appear when opening the following files without having the save folder added to the file picker directory list.
・Page management file (cmc format file)
・File under a page management file (clip format file)
・3D file (comprised of textures and multiple other files)
Steps
1. If a message appears requesting permission to access the site, select OK.
Note:
・For 3D files comprised of multiple files such as textures etc., you will need to activate access permissions every time you read the files.
・If you open a clip file under page management, the following message shows.
Select Open as single page to open just that page as a single canvas to edit it.
If you want to open it with the page manager then select OK and check step 2.
2. Check that the selected folder is the one that the file is saved in and tap Use this folder.
Note: The folder that the file is saved in will be automatically selected.
3. Select Allow in the confirmation dialog.
If the folder is in a location that cannot be selected, follow the steps below to copy the folder into the Clip Studio folder and then load it.
If the folder is in a location that cannot be selected
Follow the steps below to copy the folder into the Clip Studio folder and then open the copied file.
1. Launch your device’s file app.
Note: This section describes the steps for Galaxy devices.
2. Open the location the necessary files are saved in.
3. With the folder selected, tap Copy.
4. Select Internal storage > Documents > Clip Studio folder and tap Copy here.
