Releasing the shortcut key while editing a "Smart Shape" with "Switch tool temporarily" prevents further operations (March 11, 2026)
Issue
If you release the shortcut key while editing a Smart Shape with Switch tool temporarily, you will no longer be able to perform any operations.

iPad: Unable to enter numbers with two or more digits on the palette (updated on 3/18/2026)
Issue
We have confirmed an issue where, in some environments, when the keyboard is set to floating on iPadOS 26, numeric values of two or more digits cannot be entered in palettes.
Workaround
Please change the keyboard to full size from the floating keyboard, and then try typing numbers.

This issue has also been observed in third-party applications, and we have shared our feedback with Apple.
Windows: Shortcuts become unavailable when switching back from another application (3/18/2026)
■Issue
We have confirmed an issue where, after switching back to Clip Studio Paint from another application, shortcuts become unavailable in some environments.
■Workaround
When the issue occurs, please click on a palette or the canvas scrollbar before using shortcuts.
To prevent the issue from occurring, please try one of the following methods.
- For users with a Huion graphic tablet
Please install the older driver version "Driver_15.7.6.1858" from the Huion official website and check whether this resolves the issue.
If your graphic tablet is not compatible with the above driver, please try the method described below.
- How to change the graphic tablet input settings
1. Go to Preferences > Tablet > under Using tablet service, select Tablet PC.
2. Open your graphic tablet's settings application and enable Windows Ink.
For instructions on enabling [Windows Ink], please refer to the official instructions provided by your graphics tablet manufacturer.
If a different issue occurs, please revert to the original settings.
- How to use previous versions of the application
To use a previous version, you can download and install Version 4 or earlier from the link below.
This issue is scheduled to be addressed in a future update.
3D hand model deforms incorrectly during manipulation. (3/19/2026)
■Issue
When manipulating the pre-installed 3D hand model, some areas may deform unnaturally, with parts appearing to protrude or cave in.
■Workaround
We recommend operating the 3D hand model at its original size without zooming in or out.
If this issue has already occurred, go to the 3D hand model’s Tool Settings > Transform > Object scale, then select Reset to restore the original size and operate the model at that scale.
This issue is scheduled to be addressed in a future update.
Windows: "This application was unable to start correctly (0xc000007b)" error is displayed (3/19/2026)
■Issue
When performing the following actions, this error may appear in some environments and interrupt your progress.
- Updating the app from Clip Studio
- Select File > Import > Scan
■Workaround
- If you cannot update your app
Please download and install the app from the link below.
- If you cannot use the Scan function
Please scan using your scanner’s application.
