Windows: Sometimes lines look jagged when I draw them. (Updated November 8, 2024)

Some users have reported that lines looked jagged while drawing.

Grammarly
If this problem occurs, please select Startup apps in the Task Manager and disable Grammarly.Desktop.exe.
1. Right-click on your Windows Task Bar and select Task Manager > Startup apps.
2. Right-click on Grammarly.Desktop.exe and select Disable.
3. Restart your PC.
If the issue isn't solved by disabling the app, please also check the steps under "Set up Using tablet service".

Set up "Using tablet service"
Please change Using tablet service in Preferences and restart Clip Studio Paint.
The situation can be improved by using the appropriate tablet service for your setup.
Graphics tablets:
If your computer is connected to a graphics tablet with or without a screen, please configure your settings as described below.
1. Start Clip Studio Paint and open Preferences.
2. Select Tablet, add a check to Wintab under Using tablet service, and click OK.
3. Restart Clip Studio Paint.
Uninstall your tablet’s driver and install the most up-to-date version.
Even if you are already using the most up-to-date version of your tablet’s driver, please uninstall, reinstall, and try again.
Tablet PCs
If you are using a tablet PC, such as a Windows Surface device, please configure your settings as below.
1. Start Clip Studio Paint and open Preferences.
2. Select Tablet, ass a check to TabletPC under Using tablet service, and click OK.
3. Restart Clip Studio Paint.
If you have a pen tablet driver installed, please uninstall it.
Be sure to use only your device’s dedicated pen, as it may not work properly with another manufacturer's pen tablet.
