Tell me about social account linking

Linking your social account means that you can log in to a Clip Studio account using your Apple Account or Google Account.

Note:
- This can be used with Ver. 4.0.0 and later.
- With the web browser service Clip Studio Start, you can link your Apple Account or Google Account regardless of version.

Linking your Clip Studio account upon account creation

On the Clip Studio account creation screen choose Continue with Apple or Continue with Google.

Linking your social account with a pre-existing Clip Studio account

Link your account by opening your Clip Studio account and go to Edit Account > Link account and select the account to link.

If you want to unlink the account, tap Unlink.

Note: Apple Account log in can only be used on Windows, macOS, iPad, and iPhone.

If you changed your device

You changed to a device that does not use an Apple Account

You will not be able to log in with your Apple Account on your new device.

Ex. You change from iPhone to Android smartphone

Once you have made a Google Account on your new device, go here to follow the steps to link your Clip Studio account.

You changed to a device that uses an Apple Account

You can log in with your Google Account on your new device.

Ex. You change from an Android smartphone to iPhone

If you also want to link your Apple Account, first make an Apple Account on your new device.
