Can Deleted Default Tools be Recovered?

Initial tools and sub tools that have been deleted can be restored using the [Add from default] functions.



How to restore the initial tools

1. Select [≡] menu → [Add from default] at the top left of the [Tool] palette.



2. Select the tool to add in the [Add from default] dialog and click the [OK] button.

Here, [Pencil] is selected.



The selected initial tool is added to the [Tool] palette.




How to restore the initial sub tool

1. Select [≡] menu → [Add from default] at the top left of the [Sub Tool] palette.



2. Select the sub tool to be added in the [Add from default] dialog and click the [OK] button.

Here, [Real Pencil] is selected.



The selected initial sub tool is added to the [Sub Tool] palette.



* It will be added to the displayed sub tool group.



For versions earlier than 1.7.4:

If you are using CLIP STUDIO PAINT Ver.1.7.4 or lower, please download the initial sub tool from here.


* After downloading, unzip the zip file and load the initial sub tool by referring to the text file "ReadMe".



How to initialize all tools

By initializing the tools, you can restore all the tools to the state immediately after installation.
