Please tell me how to correct the line thickness after drawing
Question
Please tell me how to correct the line thickness, such as making the line drawing thicker or thinner.
Reply
The method of correcting the line thickness differs depending on the type of layer on which the line drawing is drawn.
Check the correction procedure according to each layer.
For raster layers
You can correct the line thickness drawn on the raster layer with the Adjust line width function in the Filter menu.
1. Select the layer whose line thickness you want to modify.
2. Select Filter menu → Correct line → Adjust line width.
3. Make the following settings in the Adjust line width dialog.
(2) Adjust the correction amount of the line width with Scale.
(3) Click OK.
* When Preview is turned on, the settings will be previewed on the canvas.
POINT
If you use the Selection area tool to specify a range, Adjust line width is applied only to the specified range.
For vector layers
You can use the Adjust line width sub tool or the Object sub tool to correct the thickness of the line drawn on the vector layer.
To correct the thickness of part of the line
Use the Adjust line width sub tool in the Correct line tool to specify that you want to change the thickness of the line by painting with a brush.
1. With the layer whose line thickness you want to correct selected, select the Correct line tool → Adjust line width sub tool.
2. Set the line width correction method and numerical value in the Tool Property palette.
3. Adjust the brush size according to the range you want to add the effect.
4. You can modify the line thickness by dragging the vector line.
When correcting the thickness of the entire line
Use the Object sub tool of the Operation tool to correct the line thickness of the entire line drawing.
1. With the layer you want to modify the line thickness selected, select the Operation tool → Object sub tool.
2. You can modify the line thickness by changing the Brush Size value on the Tool Property palette.
POINT
Click the vector line in the Object sub tool to see the path, control points, and bounding box.
If you change the Brush size in this state, you can correct the thickness of each line.
