How do I use the Clip Studio Paint PRO Single-device 12-month Pass Card?

Question

I bought the Clip Studio Paint PRO Single-device 12-month Pass Card sold on Amazon.com. How do I get started with the software?



Answer

You can install and activate Clip Studio Paint after registering the Activation Code located on the card you received after your purchase.


Please see below for detailed instructions.



(1) Find your activation code

After purchase, a card with an activation code will be delivered to your home.

Make sure that there is a code written on the card.

Note: You will not receive Clip Studio Paint software to install from Amazon.



(2) Register your activation code

1. Opens the activation code entry page.

Note: You will need to log in to your Clip Studio account.



2. Enter your code and click Send.



3. When the screen showing Your Activation Code appears, click Next.



4. Click Use for new plan and then click Use.



If you wish to apply to the current Clip Studio Paint PRO single-device plan, please select it under Current Plans.


5. Click Confirm.



The code will be applied by the above procedure, and the CLIP STUDIO PAINT monthly usage plan will be licensed to your account.



(3) Launch Clip Studio Paint and activate it

Once your account is licensed, follow the steps below to launch the application and authenticate.


1. If you have not installed the application, install it from the following page.



2. Start the application


Windows/macOS

After starting Clip Studio, click Draw or PAINT.




Other devices

Tap the Clip Studio icon to start the software.



3. Bring up the license authentication screen.


PCs

Select I already have a license / I have signed up for the free offer.



Tablets and Smartphones

Tap Use existing plan.




Note
・You will need to log into your Clip Studio account.
・If you do not see this screen, go to Review/Change License.


4. The license will be automatically authenticated and Clip Studio Paint will startup.

If a license list pops up, tap the license that you want to use and press Activate.

If the authentication screen does not display

If the authentication screen does not display in step 3 of “Verify license”, open Review/Change License after launching the application.
