How do I add fonts I downloaded to Clip Studio Paint?
Go to [Text] > [Tool property], tap [Add font from files…], and select the font file you would like to add.
Make sure the font files you want to add are downloaded in advance. You can find fonts on dedicated sales and font specialty sites.
Font files can be imported to the app from Clip Studio Paint Ver. 1.11.6, released on December 14, 2021.
Click here to update.
On versions earlier than 1.11.6, only the fonts installed on your OS are available.
Procedure
1. Select Tool palette > Text.
2. Select Tool property palette > Font to open the font list.
3. Click the “Add font from files...” button at the bottom of the list.
4. Select the font file (.ttf, .otf, .ttc, .otc) you would like to add from the dialog that appears.
5. Click Open to add the selected font to your font list.
You can add multiple font files at once.
■On Smartphones
1. Tap "Select sub tool" > Text
2. Select Tool property to open the font list.
3. Click the "Add font from files..." button at the bottom of the list.
4. Select the font file (.ttf, .otf, .ttc, .otc) you would like to add from the dialog that appears.
5. Click Open to add the selected font to your font list.
