How do I switch to Thai, Indonesian, or Portuguese?

You can change Clip Studio Paint's language by reinstalling the app according to the following instructions.

Note: Reinstalling the software will not affect the your work data or settings.


Note:
Sub tool names will continue to display in the language set before the change.
To change sub tool names, see the “Changing sub tool names” below.


Important:

Clip Studio Paint Ver.1, one-time payment perpetual version, does not support Thai, Indonesian, or Portuguese.


Note:
From March 14 2023, Clip Studio Paint Ver. 2.0.0 supports Thai, Indonesian, and Portuguese.

Solution

1. If you have a work in progress, save it and exit Clip Studio Paint.


2. Download and install the application from the following page.



3. Select the language you want from the Select Language screen that is shown when you run the installer.

Changing sub tool names

You can change the sub tool names to the language you have set by resetting the Tools to default.


Note:
Any customized contents and personal brushes will also be deleted and restored to their default state. To avoid this, change only Name in Sub Tool Settings.
