Category

3D lines

Lines will be extracted based on the form of the 3D object.

Note:
3D lines will not display when using a 2D image.

The entryway main composition gets outlined as well the right side area near the wall based on the 3D structure.

Texture lines

Lines will be extracted from the 3D object like a flat image.

Compared to 3D lines it is harder to see where the wall ends and the tile lines are more visible.

Tone

Lines will be extracted from the 3D object like a flat image and shadows will be extracted as tones.

Parameters

Adjust accuracy according to scale

Extract small detail outlines of parts that do not have as dramatic of a depth.

Ex. The outline of the boards in the back of the classroom are reflected despite the shallow depth of the frames.

Outline

Outline is the outer rim of the object, where the object ends and the space around it begins.

When multiple objects overlap there will be no outline made based on the overlap.

Ex. The front figure’s left hand and the back figure’s body are not outlined as one silhouette from the overlap.

Direction

This setting detects lines based on the brightness or darkness of the image.

If the up arrow is enabled the upper part will be lighter and the bottom will be extracted darker horizontally.

Ex. A brown sofa is placed on a white background.

With the up arrow enabled the upper lines of the sofa disappear.
