Galaxy / Android / Chromebook: What is the file picker?

The file management has been changed from Clip Studio Paint Ver. 3.2.0.

To save and share your work in Studio Mode, use the file picker on the screen to select a file directory or save location.



Opening and saving files

How to open files

The file picker will be displayed when selecting Open and Import.

Select any file and tap Open.




How to save files

The file picker will appear when saving. Enter a file name and tap Save.




How to select a save location

In the file picker, you can select Select from storage or Add a directory. See the following pages for more information.

Note:
There are some restrictions for files saved outside of the Clip Studio folder. See here for details.



Sharing, deleting, or renaming files in locations that cannot be selected in the file picker

Previous save location

In Previous save location, files saved in versions prior to Ver. 3.2.0 will be displayed.



Note:
- These folders cannot be designated as a save location.
- This option will not appear if there are no files saved from a previous version, such as a fresh installation of Ver. 3.2.0.



ZIP format files

The file picker cannot load files in ZIP format.

Please use a file manager app in advance to extract the files from the ZIP file.
