Ver. 1: How do I start using Clip Studio Paint after purchasing a Ver. 1 one-time purchase license?
Available by launching Clip Studio Paint and entering a 30-digit serial number beginning with "SP".

3. Launch the application and enter the serial number

1. Check that you have received a serial number
When you purchase the one-time purchase of Clip Studio Paint, you will receive an email with your serial number at the email address you provided when you made your order.
Please make sure you have received an email from the following address:

2. Install the application
1. Open the following page:
2. From Latest version, select your computer’s operating system.
3. To install, run the download installer and follow the on-screen instructions.
Windows: Microsoft Edge
macOS: Safari
3. Launch the application and enter the serial number
1. Double-click Clip Studio to launch it.
2. Click PAINT in the upper left corner of the screen.
If you have used a trial version or another grade of Clip Studio Paint in the past, the serial number entry screen will not appear upon launch.
If so, follow the instructions on this page here to activate Clip Studio Paint allowing you to use it.
3. Click I already have a license / Sign up for a free trial.
4. When the login screen appears, enter your email address and password to log in.
6. Clip Studio Paint will launch.
