What are Predictive Stroke and Predictive Cursor?
This feature reduces the delay between the pen tip and what is drawn by temporarily displaying the predicted stroke or cursor when drawing on Galaxy devices and iPad.

Predictive Stroke
While drawing, the predictive stroke will temporarily display and reduces the delay when drawing quickly.
Note: The effect will differ depending on the model. As the stroke will temporarily be displayed, the usual feel of drawing may differ.
Affected devices
- Galaxy devices/S pen
- iPad/Apple pencil
How to Change Settings
Go to Tools under Preferences and check Show stroke preview, then tap OK.
If you are in Simple Mode, please switch to Studio Mode first.

Supported Sub Tools
The following Sub Tools support Input process.
- Brush, Pen, Dot pen
- Eraser
Note: General settings for Tools.
Predictive Stroke will not apply in these situations:
- When the Brush Size is over 100.0
- When snapping using the Ruler
- When drawing straight lines and pressing the Shift key
- When Color mixing/Watercolor edge/Spraying effect/Ribbon/Dual brush is On
- When Stabilization is over 10
- When Gap is over 20.0
- When Repeat method is set to One time only or One random cycle
- When Blending mode is set to Replace alpha
Predictive Cursor
While drawing, the predictive cursor will temporarily display and reduces the delay when drawing quickly.

Go to Cursor under Preferences and check Show cursor estimation, then tap OK.
If you are in Simple Mode, please switch to Studio Mode first.

- Pinch line, Redraw, Redraw line width

Predictive Cursor will not apply in these situations:
- When the Display position of reversed cursor (Brush-size/Sight/Single pixel dot) of the Cursor is set as Delay for stabilization in the Settings
Note: The above situation does not apply when Show stroke preview is Off and Show cursor estimation is On.
How to confirm Input process
1. Open Sub Tool or Select Sub Tool in Studio Mode and long press the Sub Tool.
